Don started this practice with Zig Zigler in mind "Help enough people get what they want and you will get what you want". Don has always enjoyed working with small businesses. While in high school, he worked in the family dry cleaning business, where he began to learn how small businesses operate. Don realized very early that small businesses are the backbone of our economy and the area that he wanted to serve.
Prior to starting the accounting firm, Don worked six years with Deloitte & Touche and eight years as Client Services Director for Todd Consulting, where he also achieved the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy. Don is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the National Association of Small Business Accountants.
